Terms of Service

1. Accessories only

Armory Swap lists 2A accessories — optics, slings, holsters, lights, cases, tools, and similar gear — only. Firearms, frames, receivers, and ammunition are prohibited on every listing, regardless of account type or verification status. Listings that read as one of these are removed on sight and repeat attempts result in account suspension.

State and local law on accessories varies — magazine capacity limits especially — and it's your responsibility to know and follow the law that applies to you, as both buyer and seller. We block an obvious mismatch (shipping a magazine into a state whose capacity limit it exceeds) using a best-effort reference we maintain, not a verified legal database. A blocked shipment doesn't mean everything else is legal, and an allowed one doesn't mean it's been checked against every rule that might apply.

2. Escrow is optional

You can route payment through GunTab's escrow service directly from a listing — funds are held until the buyer confirms the item arrived — or arrange payment however you and the other party agree instead. Using escrow is never required; we can't see or control an off-platform payment either way, and you assume whatever risk that carries.

GunTab charges its own fee for escrow, split between buyer and seller however the buyer chooses at checkout — that's their price for the service, not an Armory Swap charge, and we don't currently add anything on top of it.

3. Verification

Every seller confirms their identity before listing. This is a manual review of submitted documents, not a government identity-verification service — it establishes that a real, accountable person is behind an account, not that every claim on a listing has been independently verified. Business accounts also confirm their business registration and carry an active subscription.

4. Conduct and moderation

Harassment, scams, spam, and fake or misleading listings can be reported from any listing or profile. Admins act on reports — removing listings, suspending accounts — at their discretion. A suspended account keeps its data but loses the ability to post listings, WTB ads, or respond to either.

5. Fees

Individual accounts list for free, with no cap on active listings. Business accounts normally require an active subscription to list; as a launch offer, the first 10 businesses to complete verification get a year of that subscription free, and the first 200 members get a year of Armory Swap Pro (price-trend insights) free — both automatic, no card required. We're not charging for anything else yet. Sellers may separately pay to boost a listing's visibility. Current prices, when we do introduce them, will be shown wherever you'd subscribe or pay — nothing here is charged silently.

6. No warranty

Armory Swap is a venue connecting buyers and sellers. We don't inspect, own, or guarantee the condition of any listed item. Escrow (see section 2) protects the payment, not the item's condition — it doesn't substitute for inspecting an item yourself or asking a seller questions before you buy.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms as the platform changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
